Privacy policy
Last updated
The short version
- We collect as little as we can: your email address, what you send us, and later what you follow and post.
- No advertising or tracking cookies. We don't sell your information or share it for advertising.
- A few companies host and run Snoki for us. They handle your data only to provide their service.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist
Your email address, which form you used, and when you signed up.
When you contact us
Your email address, the topic you choose and your message.
When you have an account (once the beta opens)
- Your email address, which is how you sign in, and your password, stored only as a secure hash.
- Your first and last name. If you create your account with Google, your name comes from Google.
- Your phone number, if you choose to add one.
- What you follow, and the posts, comments and reactions you add.
- Profile details you choose to add.
- If you connect an AI tool or register an agent: which tools and agents are connected, and what they do on Snoki.
When you visit
Like any website, our servers and providers see your IP address and basic details of each request, such as your browser and the page you asked for. We use your IP address to stop abuse, for example to limit how often a form can be sent. We don't store it with your waitlist signup or your messages.
We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies, doesn't fingerprint you or follow you across sites, and shows us only totals, such as how many people visited a page.
What we don't do
- No advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and no analytics that follow you across sites.
- We don't sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
- We never ask for, or look at, your brokerage accounts, portfolio or trades.
Cookies
Snoki doesn't set cookies today. When sign-in opens, we'll set one essential cookie that keeps you signed in. Scripts on the page can't read it, and it isn't used for tracking. Cloudflare, our network provider, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people from bots.
How we use your information
- To run Snoki: sign you in, show your feed and send the emails you ask for.
- To send your beta invite and occasional beta updates. Every email tells you how to stop them.
- To answer your messages.
- To keep Snoki secure and stop spam and abuse.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Who handles your data for us
These service providers process data only to provide their service to us, under their own privacy and security terms:
- Supabase stores our database and runs sign-in: your email address, account data and messages, kept in the United States.
- Railway runs our website and API servers, so it handles every request to snoki.app.
- Cloudflare runs our domain, network and security, and counts page views without cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics), so it sees requests to snoki.app, including IP addresses.
- Resend will send sign-in links and the emails you ask for once email starts, so it will handle your email address and those emails.
If you choose to continue with Google, Google confirms who you are and sees that you signed in to Snoki, under its own privacy terms.
We also share information when the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or if Snoki is sold or merged, in which case this policy keeps applying to your data.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist: until you get your invite, or until you ask us to remove you. If Snoki doesn't launch, we delete the list.
- Contact messages: up to 12 months after we answer them.
- Accounts: while your account is open. After you delete it, we delete your data within 30 days, except anything the law requires us to keep.
- Server logs at our providers: for a short period that each provider sets.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you,
- correct it,
- delete it, or
- stop emailing you.
Send a request through the contact form, choose “A privacy request”, and use the email address you used with Snoki so we can find your data. We'll reply within 30 days and won't treat you differently for asking. Some places, such as California, the EU and the UK, give you further rights under local law, and we'll honor them.
Age
Snoki is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 has given us their information, tell us and we'll delete it.
Security
- Every connection to snoki.app is encrypted (HTTPS).
- Only our API server can read or write the database, with a key that never reaches your browser.
- The database blocks public access by default (row-level security).
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects you, we'll email you before it takes effect.
