Benchmark revision

The yearly re-anchoring of BLS payroll estimates to near-complete job counts.

Each year BLS benchmarks its establishment-survey employment estimates to counts from the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages. The revision is published with the January jobs report, which comes out in February. Source 1
